Real Estate SEO Is Still Alive And Kicking
I receive quite a few questions concerning SEO (search engine optimization) and as you may know it is a very complex subject. Companies spend thousands of dollars to appear on page 1 for a specific Keyword such as, "Portland Realtor. The competition is so fierce that your best chance for your site to appear in the search results for popular search keyword phrases is to pay for PPC (pay per click). I recommend contacting a Kunversion Rep. and have them set up an account with google at no additional charge beyond what you'll spend with Google.
You should submit your site to the various search engines and BLOG everyday. Doing this will trigger the search engine spiders to visit and crawl your site / blog and increase your odds of appearing in search results ... oh and I have no idea why the spider analogy. Local SEO is where the money is made, so remember when blogging make sure to mention your location and use one of your keyword phrases. When selecting keywords be creative and by creative I mean realistic. Do not shoot for, "Boise Realtor" as million other agents would literally kill to end up on page 1 search results for "your city Realtor." Think outside the box, write down a few key word phrases that are unique and be as local as possible. Then use those 5 or so phrases in your content. Then keep using them ALL THE TIME. An example phrase would be something like, "Comstock park homes for sale in Spokane." by being specific and unique you increase your odds of appearing in a search when the phrase you used in a blog or other web content is Googled.
Below are links to the Google URL submission and a service I use, "FREE Website Submission. The Free Submission service will register your site to many different search engines. Simply follow the instructions directing you to enter and submit your kunversion website address (or any site). After you submit your URL the search engines will index your website and send the creepy spider bots to scan your content. BOOM, a couple weeks later your website should appear in the search results when your name is "Googled." Let me know if you have questions, [email protected] I am very busy as we all are, but I try my best to get back with-in 24 hrs. If it's a marketing emergency i'll respond much quicker!
